Chartering can be a pain if you are going to a new place and don’t know the area. You can waste several days getting used to the climate and the boat, and another day turning the boat in. Crewed charters provided by the charter company are fine, but you just don't know who that crew is going to be. Are they weird? Do they yell? Who chooses the food and can they cook? There are a lot of things to think about…
Have you taken some sailing classes and don’t quite know if you are ready to charter on your own? We can help fine tune your skills and get you to the confidence level you need to do it on your own.
We regularly put together custom trips for groups who want to be a part of running the boat, but want to be with someone they know and trust, and feel safe with. We can customize learning to families with kids and arrange the experience to share the love of the ocean and sailing with your family. We take care of all the hassles, get up in the middle of the night to check on things, fix stuff, and show you how it’s done if you are interested.
Family Vacations.
A Family Trip can be customized to your wishes. You can have a reunion of sorts with multiple family members coming together for an amazing vacation on the water, a special time for your immediate family, multiple families or join another family and make some new friends. Kids are always welcome!
We can put together a memorable trip that your family will remember for years to come. It’s a great way to spend quality time with kids and grand kids, away from phones and other distractions. Imagine beach combing for shells, learning to fish, star gazing, watching the local sea life, walks ashore, snorkeling together, or just watching everyone have a great time. When was the last time you had enough time to just visit with each other and share ideas? Water toys can be added, like kayaks and stand up paddle boards and we can even teach you to row and operate the dinghy, if the kids are old enough. Lots of chores onboard are suitable for anyone to help with. We’re happy to teach these skills and allow everyone to participate. You can all learn to sail together!
Do you have a family member with special needs or dietary restrictions? We can accommodate and adapt to most everything. Just let us know what the issues are, and we’ll plan accordingly.
